This paper focuses on the Constitutions of twenty-two Latin American and Caribbean countries with a view to deliver a concise descriptive analysis on their foreign policy cycles, by identifying the constitutional distribution of legal competences and assessing alternatives for participation as well as opposition through institutional design.
